Math Chapter Five:  Fraction Operations

Chapter Focus - Understand the procedures for multiplying and dividing fractions.  Evalutate expressions and solve equations with fractions.

Real World Connections - are a very important part of music.  Musical notes even have fractional names, which tell how long each note is.  For example, an eighth note is held for one eighth the length of a four-beat measure.
