Math Chapter Six:  Collecting and Displaying Data


Chapter Focus – The students will use mean, median, mode, and range to summarize data sets.  They will also interpret a variety of graphs.

Real World Connections – Scientists use data to make predictions about populations of animals such as the King penguins on South Georgia Island in the southern Atlantic Ocean.
